Hagaha publishes independent reviews and comparisons of software, SaaS products, VPNs, AI tools and website tools. This page explains how we research those reviews, what we look at, and what our reviews can and cannot tell you.
Our approach: research-based reviews
Most Hagaha reviews are research-based. Instead of relying on marketing claims, we compare products using information that readers can check for themselves:
- Official pricing pages, plan limits and product documentation, checked on the date shown in the article.
- Independent security audits, transparency reports and regulatory records, where they exist.
- Reputable news reporting and public company announcements.
When a review is based on research rather than hands-on use, we say so in the article. If we ever test a product ourselves, we will state exactly what we tested and when.
What we evaluate
- Software & SaaS: free-plan limits, real pricing (including renewal prices), core features, ease of use and realistic alternatives.
- VPN, privacy & security tools: company jurisdiction, independent no-logs or security audits, security features, device limits, refund terms, and introductory versus renewal pricing.
- AI tools: what the free plan really includes, usage limits, privacy and data-use terms, and pricing.
- Website tools & hosting: pricing at realistic usage levels, renewal prices, plan limits, and documentation quality.
Prices and time-sensitive facts
Prices, plan limits and promotions change often. Where an article quotes a price or limit, we note when we checked it. Always confirm the current price on the provider’s official website before you buy.
Sources and citations
Our reviews include a list of references so you can see where important facts come from. We prefer primary sources such as official documentation and audit reports, and we do not present company claims as independent proof.
Updates and corrections
We update reviews when prices, features or important facts change, and each review shows when it was last updated. If you spot an error, please let us know through our Contact page. We review every correction request and fix verified errors promptly.
Affiliate links and independence
Some articles contain affiliate links. If you buy through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Commissions do not decide which products we cover or how we rate them, and affiliate relationships are disclosed in each relevant article. We only use official affiliate links provided by the companies themselves. Read our full Affiliate Disclosure.
How we use AI tools
We use AI tools to help organize research and draft articles. Facts, prices and claims are checked against the sources listed in each article, and a human editor reviews and approves every article before it is published.
What our reviews are not
Our reviews are general information to help you compare products. They are not legal, financial or professional security advice. Your needs may differ, so please review each provider’s terms before making a decision.
